Vernon Gilbert Kite, Jr., 87, passed away December 5, 2023 at Gateway Regional Medical Center in Granite City. Born January 4, 1936 in DeSoto, MO, he was the son of Vernon Gilbert, Sr. and Ruth (Eichenberger) Kite. A U.S. Navy veteran, he had worked as a financial analyst for the Showboat Casino before retiring. He married Donna Evans in Biloxi, MS. She died July 7, 2016. Judith Ann Connors, 84, passed away November 30, 2023 at her residence. Born March 30, 1939 in Bethalto, she was the daughter of John Christian and Opal Ann (Jones) Martin. She is survived by two sons, Ronnie Milligan in Florida, Shawn (Tara) Connors of Godfrey; four daughters, Sherrie Milligan, Tracy Connors, and Lisa Connors all of Alton, Melanie Connors in Texas. In accordance with her wishes, cremation rite were accorded. No services have been scheduled at this time.  

George Joseph Boud, Jr., 79, passed away November 30, 2023 at his residence. Born May 7, 1944 in Newark, NJ, he was the son of George J., Sr. and Mary (Vanderhoff) Boud. A U.S. Navy Vietnam Veteran, he had worked as a maintenance supervisor for Chemetco for over 30 years before retiring. On May 5, 1973 in Cottage Hills, he married Cindy L. Durham. She survives. Donald Raymond Goheen, 78, passed away November 29, 2023 at Alton Memorial Hospital. Born June 14, 1945 in Alton, he was the son of Harry S. and Verna (Miller) Goheen. A U.S. Marine Corps, Vietnam veteran and recipient of a Purple Heart, he worked for the Olin Corporation for 41 years before retiring as a group leader.
