Wendy Jill Hager, 60, passed away Sunday, May 17, 2026 at Alton Memorial Hospital. Born December 14, 1965 in Las Vegas, Nevada, she was the daughter of Walter "Jim" James Hager of Peru, IN. and Carol Elaine Demel. She was employed by Walmart. Surviving in addition to her father is a son Liam Volk of Wood River. She was preceded in death by her mother. No services have been scheduled at this time. Cremation rites were accorded by Marks Mortuary of Wood River, Illinois.

Monica Michelle Corbin, 54, passed away May 14, 2026 at Staunton Community Hospital. Born February 6, 1972 in Alton, she was the daughter of James and Brenda K, (Moore) Hartley. On September 30, 1994 in Alton, she married William Corbin. He survives. Surviving also are three sons, William J. Corbin, Jacob (Taylor) Corbin, Wyatt M. Cathy Ruth Piering, 75, passed away May 12, 2026 at Alton Memorial Hospital. Born December 13, 1950 in Litchfield, she was the daughter of Kenneth Edwin and Ruth Marie (Atteberry) Scherer. She graduated from Concordia Lutheran College in Chicago and was a sales associate for retail department stores. She was a member of the Lutheran Womens League. James "Jimmy" Michael Gibbs, 66, passed away May 12, 2026 at Alton Memorial Hospital. Born December 15, 1959 in Wood River, he was the son of John Gibbs and Anna Mae "Annie" (Marmino) McCarthy.
