Robert "Bobby" Torrez, Jr.

Robert "Bobby" Torrez, Jr., 62, passed away April 23, 2024 at Christian Hospital Northeast.

Born January 28, 1962 in Alton, he was the son of Shirley (Cox) Torrez of East Alton and the late Robert Torrez, Sr.

Bobby had been a self-employed construction contractor.He married Patricia Prsha on May 23, 1990. She survives.

Surviving in addition to his mother and wife are a step-son, Jesse (Danielle) Lawrence of D'Iverville, MS; grandson, Colin Lawrence; two brothers, David (Stephanie) Torrez of Moro, Andy (Billy) Torrez of Godfrey; a sister, Antonia "Toni" Bunt of East Alton; and two brothers-in-law, Kevin Tindall and Matt Motley.

He was preceded in death by his father; and two sisters, Patty Tindall and Michele Motley.

Visitation will be from 3-6 pm, Wednesday, May 1 at Marks Mortuary in Wood River.

Cremation rites will follow the visitation.

In lie of flowers, memorials are suggested to Barnyard Animal Rescue.
