Terry Lee Forsting

Terry Lee Forsting, 71, passed away Sunday, April 28, 2024 at OSF St. Anthony Health Center in Alton.

Born December 6, 1952 in Wood River, he was the son of Earl and Lila (Scroggins) Forsting.

Terry had been employed as a supervisor at Laclede Steel in Alton for 15 yrs, then a delivery driver for Kienstra Concrete Products, and then becoming a self-employed construction contractor.

Terry was an original, founding member of the Back Door Men MC and will be remembered for his nudges and unique laugh.

Surviving are two sosns, Brad Forsting of Taylorville, Zach Forsting of Hartford; two daughters, Jessica Forsting, and Lisa Forsting-Robinson both of Taylorville; five gandchildren; and a sister, Penny Brockman of Red Bud.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and a brother, Michael Forsting.

A Memorial Visitation will be held from 11am - 1 pm, Saturday, May 4 at Marks Mortuary in Wood River.
