Walter Eugene Stock

Walter Eugene '' Gene '' Stock, 83, passed away May 10, 2025 at LaBella Nursing Home in Alton, IL. He was 83 years old.

Gene was born September 29, 1941 in Grafton, IL, the son of Walter W. and Erma (Slaten) Stock.

He is survived by three sisters, Diana (Joseph) Trewhella, of Godfrey, IL, Darlene Seidler, of Dow, and Shelia (Richard) Franklin, of  Alton. IL; three nieces, April (Mike) Jones, of Medora, IL, Stephanie Lora, of Jerseyville, and Ashley (Paul) Lewis, of Godfrey, IL; a nephew, Jarad (Melissa) Franklin, of Alton, IL; and two great nephews, Scott Vest, of Durango, CO, and Parker Lewis, of Godfrey, IL; one great niece, Kaylynn Lewis, of Godfrey, IL; and one uncle, Paul Slaten, of St Charles, MO; and many Cousins.

Cremation rites were accorded.

Private interment will be in Valhalla Memorial Park in Godfrey at a later date.
