Theresa Allison (Oglesby) Wood

Theresa Allison Wood, 75, passed away April 24, 2025 at her residence.

Born September 16, 1949 in Wood River, she was the daughter of Billy Foster and Ludmilla "Luda" Nikolaevna (Banchikoff) Oglesby.

In 1990 in Wood River, she married Danny Wood. He survives.

Surviving also are her three children, Sherri (Bryon) Terry of Silsbee, TX; Pamela Jayne of Highland, IL; and William Fahnanstiel, III of Louisville, IL; two stepchildren, Nicole (Matt) Baker of Shipman, IL; and Danny Wood, Jr. of East Alton, IL; several grandchildren and great grandchildren; two brothers, Foster Oglesby of Staunton, Britton Oglesby of Godfrey; and two sisters, Mila Jarke of Edwardsville, and Tamara Leiner of Jerseyville.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and great granddaughter, Alannah Knight.

Graveside service and interment will be 11 am, Wednesday, April 30 in Wanda Cemetery in South Roxana. Frank Akers will officiate.
