Steve Stout

Gary Steve Stout, 72, passed away March 18, 2024 at his residence.

Born October 18,1951 in Champaign, IL, he was the son of Ernest and Sarah "Lucille" ( Adamson ) Stout.

A U.S. Army veteran, he was employed as a night foreman for Pickling Steel and Warehousing in Granite City before retiring.  He then operated a stump removal business.

On November 26, 1980 in Granite City, he married Linda Crabtree.  She survives.

Surviving also are two sons, Stevie Ray Stout in Alabama, Cody Stout of South Roxana; daughter, Heather Wallace of South Roxana; six grandchildren; three great grandchildren; brother, Donny Stout of Casey; and two sisters, Violet Stout of Mattoon, and Pattie Luhrsen of Champaign.

Cremation rites were accorded.
