Sharon (Jacoby) McGarrah

Sharon McGarrah, 74, passed away January 22, 2025 in East Alton.

Born September 14, 1950 in Alton, she was the daughter of Donald and Lucy (Ingle) Jacoby.

On November 16, 1991 in Wood River, she married Johnny A. McGarrah. He died December 27, 2024.

Surviving are a son, Kevin Gibbs of Bowling Green, MO; four daughters, Teresa (Matt) King of East Alton, Michelle (Don) Davidson of Fillmore, Constance McGarrah of Alton, Kimberly (Demetric) Lacey of East Alton; four grandchildren, Jessica (Alex) Slow, Eric (Hannah) Macias, Ashley (Adam) Carstens, Brandi (Jacob) Bellitto; four great grandchildren, Nicholas and Jalyn Slow, Bryson Bellitto, and Jireh Carrstens; and a brother, Bob (Nancy) Jacoby of Madison.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; and a brother, Donald Jacoby.

Visitation will be from 12 pm until time of service at 2 pm, Tuesday, January 28 at Enjoy Church in Alton. Pastor Laura Carstens will officiate.

Cremation rites will follow the service.
