Scott James Crowder, 56, rode off to his heavenly home on Saturday, May 11, 2024.
Born December 15, 1967 in Alton, he was the son of James and Judith (Ott) Crowder of Kane.
He had been a driver for Kienstra Concrete Products for several years.
Scott was known for his infectious smile and laugh. He loved his family and friends. He never met a stranger. He enjoyed playing football, rugby, working out, and bow hunting.
His passion was motocross racing. He will be deeply missed.
Surviving are his parents; his beloved partner, Martha Kilmer; daughter, Dylann Elizabeth (Mason) Hayes of Ft. Worth, TX; sister, Kori (Jeff) Baron of Glendale, MO; aunt, Robin Fultz; niece, Adalyn Baron; and cousins, Jamie Ott and family, Jake and Ike Sullivan and families.
He was preceded in death by his parental grandparents, James H. Crowder, Lorraine Crowder, maternal grandparents, Don and Helen Ott; uncle, Donnie Ott; and cousin, Chris Ott.
Visitation will be from 4-8 pm, Thursday, May 16 at the 1st United Methodist Church in East Alton where services will be conducted at 11:30 am, Friday. Frank Akers will officiate.
Burial will follow in Rose Lawn Memory Gardens in Bethalto.
