Sally "Leigh" Ann Payne

Sally "Leigh" Ann Payne, 64, passed away March 8, 2024 at her residence.

Born January 22, 1960 in Wood River, she was the daughter of Johnny Harold, Sr. and Betty Louella (Tucker) Payne.

She had been a cashier at Shop and Save Grocery for 25 years before retiring.

Surviving are a son, Scott (Michelle) Payne of Godfrey; daughter, Johnnie (Rodger) Jennings of Cottage Hills; six grandchildren; four great grandchildren; three brothers, Audie Reed and Duane Payne both of Abilene, TX, Ricky Reed in Texas; and a sister, Phyllis Benton of East Alton.

She was preceded in death by her parents; three brothers, Ronald Tucker, Johnny Harold Payne, Jr., Scotty E. Reed; and two sisters, Tootie Maggart, and Jessie Grable Jenkins.

Cremation rites were accorded.
