Roy Allan Webb, 82, of Wood River, passed away peacefully at 1:05am, Saturday, November 30, 2024, at home with family by his side.
Born July 1, 1942, in Alton, he was the son of the late Delbert Webb and Eva Webb.
He graduated from EAWR High School in 1960. He went to work at Olin Corporation soon after. After a brief transfer to Tallahassee, Florida, Roy moved his family back to Wood River where he was a co-owner of Giberson-Foutch Webb Insurance Agency. He finished his career retiring from Carpenters Union 377. Carpentry was his passion and especially enjoyed doing projects in the homes of each of his daughters.
He married his high school sweetheart, Sandra (Mullady) Webb on November 30, 1963 who survives along with his four daughters, Cathy Stolte (Jim) of Alhambra, IL, Karen Neiworth (Don) of Wood River, IL, Cindy Webb (Tom Knight) of East Alton, IL, Kristy Watters (Jim) of Alton, IL; 12 grandchildren, Daniel Stolte (Sami), Luke Stolte (Rachel), Tyler Neiworth (Samantha), Zach Neiworth, Blake Neiworth (Holly), Drew Neiworth, Kylie Neiworth, Chris Liley (Aleashea), Kara Liley (Brandon), Carly Rodriguez, Jacob Rodriguez, Rachel Rodriguez; 7 great-grandchildren, Jayda, Adilynn, Brayden, Clara, Henry, Waylon and Otto, a nephew, Steve Alexander (Debbie), sister-in-law Diana Neilson (Garry), and his fur-babies Molly, Max, Little Maggie & Missy.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Eleanor Alexander (Donald); in-laws, Donald & Clara Mullady; two sister in-laws, Sharon Kirk (Bruce) and Mary Mullady.
He will be dearly missed by all.
