Rita Kay (Rhyne) Stahl

Rita Kay Stahl, 69, passed away December 31, 2024 at her residence.

Born March 31, 1955 in East St. Louis, she was the daughter of John Edward, Sr. and Mary Delores (Bartlett) Rhyne.

She had worked as a home healthcare aid for several years.

Rita had been married to Jeffrey Stahl for 30 years before his death in 2015.

Surviving are two daughters, Danyelle Zimmerman of Moro, Marcy Green (her fiance', Travis Kahl) of Carlinville; four grandchildren, Austin (Meghan) Abernathy, Ryleigh Zimmerman, Nathaniel Hughes, Lanie Zimmerman; a great grandchild, Amara Abernathy; brother, Randy (Bonnie) Rhyne of East Alton; two sisters, Stacy Beatte of East Alton, Kimberly (Ryan) Tucker of Godfrey; and a special niece, Christy Bartlett of East Alton.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; two brothers, John E. Rhyne, Jr., Terry Rhyne; and sister, Debra Cruse.

Memorial visitation will be from 4 pm until time of service at 6 pm, Monday, January 27 at Marks Mortuary. Rev. Randy Rhyne, Jr will officiate.
