Rebecca Jean (Elkins) Carlisle

Rebecca Jean Carlisle, 63, with her family by her side, passed away, March 15, 2024 at her home.

Born in Alton on September 22, 1960, she was the daughter of Rachel (Tolley) Elkins.

On July 26, 1986 in Meadowbrook, she married Charles Carlisle. He survives.

Surviving also are a son, Chris (Rebecca) Carlisle of Bethalto; three daughters, Shannon Carlisle (Dave Admire) of East Alton, Tiffany (Chance) Abner of Bethalto, Amanda (Ryan) Luebbert of Shipman; 12 grandchildren; five great grandchildren; three sisters, Linda Gaffney in Arizona, Christie Elkins in Missouri, Debbie Carlisle of Alton; and her fur baby, "Bailey".

She was preceded in death by her mother.

Visitation will be from 3-7 pm, Tuesday, March 19 at Marks Mortuary in Wood River where services will be conducted at 11 am, Wednesday.  Revs. Betty Carlisle and Tim Naylor will officiate.

Burial will follow in Wanda Cemetery in South Roxana.

Memorials are suggested to the family in care of expenses.
