Ray Rushton Obituary

Ray Allen Rushton, 51, passed away Thursday, November 2, 2023 at Christian Hospital-Northeast.

Born August 23, 1972 in Alton, he was the son of Roy A. and Elizabeth "Betty" (Kitson) Rushton of South Roxana.

He had worked as a laborer out of Labor Local 338 in Wood River.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by a brother, Roy James "Jamie" Rushton of Hartford; two sisters, Beth Rushton of Carrollton, Rebecca "Becky" Behiter of South Roxana; and special nieces and nephews, Sonja Main, Joshua Hancock, Mark Behiter, Megan Behiter and Lynzi Stahlhut.

Visitation will be from 3-6 pm, Friday, November 10 at Marks Mortuary in Wood River.

Cremation rites will follow the visitation.

Memorials are suggested to the family in care of expenses.
