Paul Edward Knoblauch

Paul Edward Knoblauch, 74, passed away July 29, 2024 at his residence with his family by his side.

Born November 5, 1949 in Wood River, he was the son of Richard and Mary Elizabeth (Ashford) Knoblauch.

He had been a cabinet maker and a fine carpentry worker for "The Wood Butcher".

Paul is survived by his loving wife of 37 years, Robin L. Knoblauch, whom he married on March 14, 1987 in Wood River.

Surviving also are a son Derek (Kristal) Knoblauch; three daughters, Mary (Mason) Webb, Kim (Rick) Freeman, Melissa (Mark) Mangru; 12 grandchildren; brother, David (Brenda) Knoblauch; and two sisters, Brenda Weiss and Linda Elfgen.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Byron Knoblauch; and sister, Katherine Mason.

Private service will be held with Pastor Erik Scottberg officiating.

Burial will be in Rose Lawn Memory Gardens in Bethalto.

Memorials are suggested to Shriner's Hospital for Children.
