Paul Jacob Conner, 52, passed away October 6, 2025 at Anderson Hospital in Maryville.
Born September 29, 1973 in Chesterfield, IL, he was the son of Edith (Suttles) Smith of Gillespie and the late Gerald Alvin Conner.
He had been employed as a chipper for Mark's Tree Service in Edwardsville.
On October 7, 2022, he married Leanne Anders. She survives.
Surviving also in addition to his mother and wife are two sons, Jeff Conner of Erving, IL, Hunter Conner of Chesterfield, IL; 11 siblings; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his father; and a daughter, Courtney Conner.
No services have been scheduled at this time.
Cremation rites were accorded.
