Patsy "Pat" L. (Miller) List

Patsy "Pat" L. List, 79, passed away Monday, December 16, 2024 in Alton.

Born May 9, 1945 in Aurora, IL, she was the daughter of Michael and Marjorie (Darby) Miller.

Pat had worked as a school teacher for St. John's Lutheran School in Ellisville, MO before retiring. She was an active member of St. Paul Lutheran Church in Wood River and enjoyed making lap quilts and working jigsaw puzzles.

On June 21, 1969 in Aurora, she married Robert List. He survives. Surviving also area daughter, Rebecca (Tim ) Bunt of Shipman; two granddaughters, Annalise and Jillian Bunt; two sisters, Merry Straus of North Fort Myers, FL and Sandra (Barry) August of Clarksville, MD; sisters-in-law, Joanne (Dick) Lewis in Illinois, Nancy (Ken) Stringer of Okemos, MI; brother-in-law, Michael List of Seattle, WA; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; birth mother, Frances (Bliss) Miller; and a brother, Michael Miller, Jr.

A Celebration of Life Memorial Visitation will be held from 9 am until time of service at 11 am, Saturday, December 28, at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Wood River. Pastor David Schultz will officiate.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to St. Paul Lutheran Church Endowment Fund for future church improvements.
