Maurice Leo Carney, Jr.

Maurice Leo Carney, Jr., 62, passed away November 29, 2025 at OSF St. Anthony's Health Center in Alton.

Born January 12, 1963 in St. Louis, MO, he was the son of Maurice Leo Carney, Sr. and Yvonne (Quesnell) Gray.

He is survived by two sons, Kevin (Amber) Carney of Granite City, Jacob Lambert of Alton; two daughters, Tia Carney (fiance', Jesse Stewart) of Godfrey, Brittany (Eric) Donelson of Granite City; eight grandchildren, Olivia Carney, Kaylee Corrado, Alexander Donelson, Aiden Carney, Ethan Murphy, Richard Manion, James Manion, and Aleeza Manion; a great grandson, Rowan Manion; and two sisters, Ina LeMaster of Granite City, and Debbie Polston of High Ridge, MO.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and a brother, Donald Gray.

Cremation rites were accorded.
