Mark Douglas McKinney, 70, passed away Saturday, July 12, 2025 at his residence.
Born June 24, 1955 in Wood River, he was the son of Wayne and Marjorie (Fozzard) McKinney.
A U.S. Army veteran, he had been a Teamster driver for Maclair Asphalt for 30 years before retiring in 2008.
On July 25, 1998 in South Roxana, he married Jacqueline Moose. She survives.
Surviving in addition to his wife are two brothers, David McKinney of Fountain Hills, AZ, and Richard Ward of Atlanta, GA.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, John Ward; and sister, Terri Lynn Stearns.
Visitation will be from 9 am until time of service at 10 am, Thursday, July 17, 2025 at Marks Mortuary in Wood River.
Burial will follow in Wanda Cemetery in South Roxana with military honors presented by Alton VFW Post 1308.
Memorials are suggested to Disabled American Veterans.
