Marion Evelyn Coddington, 90, passed away October 1, 2024 at Alton Memorial Hospital.
Born December 8, 1933 in St. Louis, MO, she was the daughter of Lynn and Irene (Lemen) Hose.
She ha worked in the loan department for 1st National Bank of Wood River for many years. Marion enjoyed sewing, gardening, and dancing and loved her pets.
On January 30, 1953 in St. Louis, she married Arthur G. Coddington. He died August 26, 2013.
Surviving are a daughter, Cheryl Gregory of East Alton; son, Daniel (Kathy) Coddington of Glen Carbon; three grandchildren, Danielle Gregory, Jake Coddington, Noah Coddington; three great grandchildren, Tayler Tinnon, Aberlee Propst, Jakoby Propst; and great-great grandchild, Rylan Tinnon.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; and sister, Barbara Saputo.
Private services were conducted with burial in Woodland Hill Cemetery.
