Margaret "Peggy" A. Sido, 88, passed away in the comfort of her home on Monday, March 9, 2026.
Born December 9, 1937 on Bunker Hill, she was the daughter of Robert and Evelyn (Craig) Hamor.
It didn't take much to make Peggy happy, family was everything to her. She raised six kids and three grandkids. Those close to her knew if you wanted to visit with Peggy, you had to come to her. She would be home. Peggy loved to take car rides, not to any destination, just for the drive.
She is survived by three daughters, Barb (Frank)Davis, Janet Sido, Mary Sido; two sons, Joe (Laura) Sido, Jim Sido (Lynn Jones); 11 grandchildren, Erica Citrowskie, Jodi Kwas, Kali Heckler, Niki Hall, Jessica Sido, Katie Sido, Jordan Brannon, Joe Sido, Conner Mathews, Shawn Porter, and Jake Sido; two sisters, Dorothy Claussen, Linda Moore; and a brother, Bob Hamor.
She was preceded in death by her parents; son, John Sido; and sister, Jane Larrick.
Visitation will be from 9 am until time of service at 10 am, Saturday, March 14 at Marks Mortuary in Wood River. Father Donald Wolford will officiate.
Peggy will be laid to rest at Woodland Hill Cemetery.
