Margaret "Maggie" Ann (Essary) Hartsock

Margaret "Maggie" Ann Hartsock, 80, passed away June 28, 2025 at her home in Roxana.

Born February 7, 1945 in McLeansboro, IL, she was the daughter of Inman "Ed" Essary and Helen (Tedford) Essary Jozak.

Maggie worked at Olin Brass in East Alton as well as several other jobs. She enjoyed house plants, gardening, working crossword puzzles, and bird watching.

Surviving are her two sons, Bradley Allen Hartsock (Lena) of Wood River, Robert Mark Hartsock (Bill of St. Louis, MO; seven grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; brother, Howard F. Essary of Plano, TX; and sister, Patricia (Talley) Slaten of Fieldon.

No services have been scheduled at this time.

Cremation rites were accorded.
