Mildred "Janice" Wolf, 95, passed away Sunday, September 8, 2024 at Jerseyville Manor in Jerseyville.
Born December 16, 1928 in Greene County, IL, she was the daughter of Charles H. and Mildred Hope (Akers) Crum.
Janice has worked as a secretary for St. Bernard Catholic School in Wood River before retiring.
On February 8, 1947 in Wood River, she married Donald Wolf. He died June 24, 2014.
Surviving are two sons, Mark (Rebecca) Wolf of Bixby, OK, Gary (Lisa) Wolf of Roseville, MN; two daughters, Jean Stothert (Kevin O'Rourke) of Omaha, NE, Linda Lewis (Terry Ottwell) of Godfrey; eight grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren; four great-great grandchildren; and sister, Wilma Wienold of Florissant, MO.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and brother, Harold Crum.
Visitation will be from 10 am until time of Mass of Christian Burial at 12 pm, Monday, September 16 at Holy Angels Parish Church in Wood River. Father Donald Wolford will officiate.
Burial will follow in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery in Alton.
Memorials are suggested to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
