Loretta Ann (Grover) VanAusdoll

Loretta Ann VanAusdoll, 87, passed away February 2, 2024 at her home.

Born October 22, 1936 in Michael, IL, she was the daughter of Leonard and Cecelia Elizabeth (Zipprich) Grover.

She had worked in the bookkeeping department of Illinois State Bank for 25 years before retiring.

Earlier in life, Loretta was very involved with her walking organization, "The Illinois Trekkers Association".

She married Marvin VanAusdoll on October 5, 1963 in Wood River. He died on December 19, 2020.

Surviving are a daughter, Staci Gusewelle of Alton; granddaughter, Carli Brown (Allen Skaggs); and a great grandchild, Rowan Skaggs.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; and a sister, Mary Cecelia Hendricks.

Visitation will be from 10 am until time of Mass of Christian Burial at 11:30 am. Father Donald Wolford will officiate.

Burial will follow in Rose Lawn Memory Gardens in Bethalto.
