Linda Sue (Wallis) Zirges

Linda Sue Zirges, 80, passed away May 12, 2025 at Hallmark Healthcare in Carlinville.

Born February 4, 1945 in Scottville, IL, she was the daughter of Clayborn Oliver and Alice D. (Ham) Wallis.

She had worked as a store clerk at the Bethalto Hit-N- Run before retiring.

Surviving are two sons, Keith Zirges of Plainview, Daron Zirges of Bethalto; daughter, Bonnita Barrett of Bethalto; siblings, Carl (Mildred) Wallis, Harol Wallis, William, Jr Wallis, Elsie Hayes, Mary Chapman, and Judy Turner; and many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and siblings, Doris Baumgartner, Leroy Wallis, Dean Wallis, George Wallis, Frieda Conner, Frank Wallis, Sylvia Schad, Mable Wallis, and Phyllis Vice.

Cremation rites were accorded.
