Linda Kay Shake Andrews, 74, passed away quietly on September 19, 2024, after a brief bout with cancer.
Born August 14, 1950 in Alton, she was the daughter of Harold, Sr. and Mary (Nelson) Shake.
Linda was a retired respiratory therapist who enjoyed gardening, classical music, her cats, her church, and her large family.
She is survived by her children, Leaona (Scott) O'Neill of Milton, FL, Thad Andrews of LaGrange, KY, Tisha (Tony) Davis of Cahokia Heights; 14 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; brothers, Donald (Nook) Shake of Rosedale, MD, Terry Shake of Boise, ID; and her best friend and partner, Tom Kuehling.
She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Tina Cannon; brothers, Harold, Jr., Richard, Ronnie, and Mickey Shake; and grandchildren, Scott O'Neill and Myleigh O'Neill.
Visitation will be from 4-7 pm, Tuesday, September 24 at Marks Mortuary in Wood River.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 am, Wednesday at Holy Angels Parish Church in Wood River.
Private burial will follow in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery in Freeburg, IL.
Memorials are suggested to Holy Angels Parish.
