Laura L. (Hall) Barber

Laura L. Barber, 74, passed away February 16, 2024 at Bria of Wood River.

Born in Wood River on September 27, 1949, she was the daughter of Merrill L. and Helen (McCall) Hall.

She had worked as an administrative assistant for Airco for several ears before retiring in 2014.

Surviving are two sons, Phillip (Tara) Barber of Dow, Mitchell Barber of Wood River; daughter, Valerie Barber of Edwardsville; four grandchildren, Jackson Hallquist, Ivy Hallquist, Kristin Lewis, and Jillian Barber; a great grandchild, Arya Lewis; and two brothers, Jack Hall and Bob Hall both of Wood River.

She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Bob Hall; and sister, Eunice St. Peters.

Visitation will be from 10:30 am until time of service at 11:30 am, Saturday, February 24 at First Christian Church in Wood River.  Walter McCaslin will officiate.

Burial will be in Rose Lawn Memory Gardens at a later date.

Memorials are suggested to her family in care of expenses.
