Kevin Dwayne Perigo, 61, passed away unexpectedly on October 5, 2024, at Alton Memorial Hospital.
Kevin was born on September 18, 1963 in East St. Louis, the son of Betty J. (Hooker) Perigo and Robert E. Perigo Sr. in East St. Louis, Illinois.
He attended Granite City South High School.
Kevin had a love for the outdoors, enjoyed watching baseball and football. He also enjoyed watching ‘The Morning After Show’ from 7-10am on YouTube. He loved caring for his fur baby, “Benjamin”. He had many dogs over the years that have since left this world, but were able to be spoiled by Kevin and Lori.
In 1997, Kevin met the love of his life, Lori Stilts, she survives.
Along with Lori, Kevin is survived by three children, two sons, Kevin Perigo Jr. (Stacie) and Keith Perigo and daughter, Stefanie Solomon (Colin); four grandchildren, whom he loved dearly, Hannah Perigo, Kaitlynn Perigo, Alexander Solomon and Gabriel Solomon; a sister Carolyn Wrigley; a brother Larry Holt; whom both, he loved dearly; and a brother-in-law, Steven Hulett.
Kevin is preceded in death by his parents; and two stepsons, Kyle Stilts and Brian Stilts; and a sister, Laurrie Perigo.
Visitation will be held from 1pm until time of service at 3 pm on October 19, 2024 at The Bridge Church, 504 E. 12th Street, Alton, IL, 62002.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to be made in Kevin’s name to 5A’s Animal Shelter.
