Kevin Michael Crotty, Sr.

Kevin Michael Crotty, Sr., 62, passed away December 17, 2024 at his residence.

Born March 16, 1962 in Alton, he was the son of Sandra (Scribner) Crotty of East Alton and the late John Wilson Crotty, Sr.

He had worked as a welder for Boilermakers Local 363 and laborer for Labor Local 42.

On July 19, 1991 he married, Deborah Hammer. She survives.

Surviving in addition to his mother and wife are two sons, Kevin Crotty, Jr. of East Alton, Kyle Crotty (Jamie) of Warrenton, MO; daughter, Samantha Crotty of Wood River; three grandchildren, Emma, Kyle, Jr. and Haylee Crotty; brother, John W. Crotty, Jr. of Dorsey; sister, Kathleen Crotty of East Alton, and two sisters-in-law, Laura (Guy) Stricker in Wisconsin, Kim (Frank) Melendez of El Paso, TX.

He was preceded in death by his father; brother, Jeff Crotty, Sr; sister, Kim Corbin; mother and father-in-law, Marion Hammer and David Hammer.

Graveside Services will be conducted at 1 pm, Friday, December 27 at Valhalla Memorial Park in Godfrey. Frank Akers will officiate.

Memorials are suggested to the family in care of expenses.
