Kenneth Howard Goben

Kenneth Howard Goben, 78, passed away June 6, 2026 at his residence.

Born November 13, 1947 in  Albany, OR, he was the son of William Allen and Mary Elizabeth (Laird) Goben.

He had been employed as a machinist for Ford Motor Company in Hazelwood for 25 years before retiring in 2008. He had been a member of the Wood River Moose Lodge as well as the Wood River Eagles, F.O.E. 254.

On September 26, 1998 in Alton, he was married to Lynett Knight. She survives.

Surviving also are daughters, Kasey (Tim) Garrison of Riverview, FL, Jamie (Ruben) Villarreal of Marion, TX, Carrie Coleman of Alton; and three grandchildren, Anthony Lyle, Michael Volz and Elizabeth Vanzo.

His parents; grandson, Austin James "AJ" Henry; and brother, Donald Goben preceded in death.

Cremation rites were accorded.

A Celebration of Life Memorial will be scheduled at a later date.
