Katie L. (McPeak) Davis

Katie L. Davis, 91, passed away July 3, 2025 at her home.

Born August 18, 1933 in Louisville, IL, she was the daughter of Homer and Iva (Douglas) McPeak.

On December 13, 1958 in East Alton, she married James "Jim" D. Davis.  He died May 5, 2020.

Surviving are two sons, Michael Davis of Rosewood Heights, Clay (Alicia) Davis of Flagger Beach, FL; daughter-in-law, Sherry Davis of Chicago; five grandchildren; Nicole (Steve) Mitchell, Joe (Kim) Meador, Dan Davis, Brandy Davis, John Barnard; 13 great grandchildren; and six great-great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; son, Daniel Davis; granddaughter, Misty Davis; brother, Leonard McPeak; and sister, Annabell Gibson.

Visitation will be from 10 am until time of service at 12 pm, Monday, July 14 at Lovejoy United Presbyterian Church in Wood River.  Pastor Daniel Ervin will officiate.

Burial will follow in Rose Lawn Memory Gardens in Bethalto.

Memorials are suggested to Lovejoy United Presbyterian Church.
