Karen R. (East) Yates

Karen R, Yates, 78, passed away September 25, 2025 at Missouri Baptist Hospital in Town and Country, MO.

Born January 30, 1947 in Alton, she was the daughter of Eldon A. and Velma N. (Eastwood) East.

She had been employed as a secretary for the Olin Corporation several years before retiring.

Karen married Robert H. Yates, who preceded in death on January 7, 2023.

Surviving are a son, Steve (Debbie) Yates of Grafton; six grandchildren, Joshua (Cassidy) Yates, Jaden Yates, Justin Yates, Zachary Yates, Abigail Yates, and Corree Yates; and two great grandchildren, Cole and Bristol.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; son, Patrick Yates; and brother, Gary A. East.

No services have been scheduled at this time

Cremation rites were accorded.
