June Leona Ramos, 80, passed away at her home Wednesday, May 22, 2024.
Born March 1, 1944 in Saint Louis, MO, she was the daughter of James Leonard Lay and Betty Jean (Brown) Alpe.
Surviving are a daughter, Gloria Jarillo of Granite City, Barbara (Bill) Pagel of Warrenton, Missouri; sons, James (Linda) Stufflebean of Hartford, LeRoy (Mercy) Stufflebean of St. Louis; brothers, Jim Lay of Florida, Kenny Lay of Oklahoma, David Lay of St. Louis; sisters, Linda Parker of St. Louis, Clara Moore in Tennessee, Cindy Parker of Roxana, Wanda Guiterrez of St. Louis; 20 grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Mariano Ramos; sons, Nito Ramos, Keith Stufflebean; brother, Jerry Lay; sisters, Maryanne Sweeney, and Fern DeClue.
Visitation will be from 9 - 11 am, Tuesday May, 28 at Marks Mortuary in Wood River.
Burial will follow at 12:30 pm at Mt. Lebanon Cemetery in St. Ann, Mo.
