Judy Louise Wray, 76, passed away January 26, 2025 at home surrounded by her loved ones.
Born October 3, 1948 in Jacksonville, IL, she was the daughter of Merle N. and Bertha F. (Bishop) Workman.
Judy had worked as an aftercare specialist for the State of IL - W.I.C. Program before retiring.
She married Jerry V. Wray who preceded her in death.
Surviving are two sons, Thomas (Karine) Keith of Alton, James (Carol) Wray of East Alton; children, Dara Blasingim Green in California, Debbie Blasingim (Chris) Stacha of Dallas, TX, Sandy Blasingim (Kevin) Grace of Phoenix, AZ, Reverand Jerry (Bobbi) Wray, III of Godfrey, Karlena Wray of Bunker Hill, Michael Lovsey of Williamson, Sunny Wray-Avera of Mobile, AL, Michael E. (Erin) Wray of Alton, William C. Wray of Wood River, Robert A. (Christina) Wray of East Alton, Lacy J. Wray of Rosewood Heights; grandchildren, J.W., Johnathan, Alycia, Jeremy, Kayla, Charles, Sarah, Dustin, Vanessa, Samantha, Elisha, and Christina; 11 great grandchildren; two great grandchildren; siblings, Merle D. (Evelyn) Workman of Winterhaven, FL, John Workman of East Alton, Dixie (Walter) Pruitt of Alton, Darrell (Danielle) Workman of Hartford; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; brother, Robert F. Workman; and sister, B. Diane Workman.
A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held at 1 pm, Saturday, February 8 at Bethalto Presbyterian Church, 15 Nelson Dr, Bethalto, IL 62010.
Interment will held at a later date. Memorials are suggested to Bethalto Presbyterian Church.
