Judith Ann Zumwalt, 84, formerly of Hartford, went to be with the Lord, April 4, 2024 at BJC Evelyn's House in Creve Coeur, MO.
Born February 28, 1940 in Alton, she was the daughter of Anton and Lettie Edith (Gibbs) Masiero.
She began her career working at Walter's Market in Hartford and then to working as a Receiver for Schnucks for many years before retiring March 1, 2006; and was a member of Enjoy Church.
On March 1, 1956, she married Keith E. Zumwalt. He died February 10, 2022.
Surviving are a son, Keith E., Jr. (Tina) Zumwalt of Wood River; daughter, Melody Kerbs of Edwardsville; four grandchildren, Lindsay Shields, Amber (Corey) Gentry, Marissa (Shawn) Lipe, Sara (Jake) Crabtree; and eight great grandchildren, Jordan, Jacob, Haley, Christian, Milan, Carlie, Parker and Trey.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; six brothers, Edward Masiero, Anthony Masiero, Dewey Masiero, Robert Masiero, Richard Masiero, John Gerde; and three sisters, Helen Null, Rose Gares, and Betty Allred.
Visitation will be from 10 am until time of service at 12 pm, Tuesday, April 16 at Marks Mortuary in Wood River. Pastor Darren Carstens will officiate.
Burial will follow in Rose Lawn Memory Gardens in Bethalto.
Memorials are suggested to Evelyn's House in Creve Coeur, MO.
