Jared "Jerry" Edwin Clark

Jared "Jerry" Edwin Clark, 73, Passed away June 11,2025 at Evelyn's House in Creve Coeur, MO. Born September 11,1951 in Alton, IL, he was the son of the late Charles and Violet (Johnson) Clark. On June 19, 1982 in Flossmoor, IL, he married Catherine Pries. She Survives. Jerry got his PHD in European history and was a Fulbright Fellow. In his free time he enjoyed reading and playing the guitar. Surviving in addition to his wife Catherine are son, Stephen Clark of Homewood; brother, Charles M. (Tammy) Clark of Valparaiso, IN.; and four nieces, Amanda Weyant, Elizabeth Clark, Melaine Guetschow, and Holly Mocabee. He was preceded in death by his parents; and brother, John Clark. Visitation will be from 1-2 pm with a service following at 2 pm on Sunday, June 15, 2025 at Marks Mortuary in Wood River, IL. Cremation rites will follow.
