Janice M. (Ireland) Karrick

Janice M. Karrick, 69, passed away April 15, 2025 at OSF St. Anthony Health Center in Alton. 

Born October 8, 1955 in St. Louis, MO, she was the daughter of Dorothy (Jackson) Ireland of Wood River and the late John Ireland. 

Janice had been employed as a Certified Nursing Assistant at Eldercare of Alton for 20 years.

She had married Sammie Williams who preceded her in death in 1977. 

Surviving in addition to her mother are her companion, Gary Caldwell of Wood River; sons, Shane Williams of East Alton, Travis (Connie) Farris of Godfrey; daughter, Cassie (Mark) Lindow of Collinsville; several grandchildren and great grandchildren; brother, Johnny (Cindy) Ireland of Brighton; and sister, Laurie Elliott of Alton. 

She was preceded in death by her father; two grandchildren, Richelle Williams and Andrew Staszkiewicz; brother, Charles Ireland; and two sisters, Kathy Ireland and Joan Evans. 

Cremation rites were accorded.
