Jacquelin S. (Byrley) Hellrung

Jacquelin S. Hellrung, 77, passed away January 29, 2024 at her residence.

Born in New Albany, IN on March 19, 1946, she was the daughter of Rush and Margaret (Miller) Byrley.

A small business owner, she also had been employed as a waitress at Argosy Gaming (Alton Belle Casino) and Red Lobster in Alton.

She married Dennis Hellrung who preceded her in death.

Surviving are a son, David Poe of Wood River; grandchildren, Kathy Messerly, Kristen Poe, Anna Poe and Alexa Owens; a brother, Raymond Byrley; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Raymond Poe; and two sisters, Sally Ramage and Rebecca Kelly.

A Celebration of Life Memorial will be held from 1-3 pm, Sunday, February 18 at the Rox-Arena, 2 Park Dr, Roxana, IL.
