Hannah Marie Smith

Hannah Marie Smith, 25, passed away July 4, 2025 at her home.

Born May 25, 2000 in Ann Arbor, MI, she was the daughter of Toni Marie Spano and the late Varnetress"Dwayne" Smith.

She is survived by her mother; five brothers, Michael Hellmes, Julian Word, and Maliek Word all in Michigan, Jaxon (Kirzdy) Smith of Wood River, Korey Word of Edwardsville; two sisters, Neda Smith of Columbia, MO, and Chevon Word of Alton; an aunt, Melissa (Paul Scheich; and five uncles, Sean (Sherry) Spano, Nick Spano, Peirre Smith, Donte Smith, and Ronald Smith.

She was preceded in death by her father; paternal grandmother, Georgia Ann Smith; Paternal Grandfather, Ronald Smith; and uncle Vontress Djuan Smith.

Cremation rites were accorded.

A Celebration of Life will be scheduled at a later date.
