Frona Lea Walker

Frona Lea Walker, 92, passed away July 20, 2025 at her home. 

Born in Wood River on July 24, 1932, she was the daughter of Manuel and Caldonia (Penrod) Craig.

On March 22, 1952 in Pickett, Ark., she married William LeRoy Walker, Sr. He died August 24, 2020. 

Surviving are two sons, William L. , Jr. (Irene) Walker, Dennis (Billie Jo) Walker; four daughters, Kathy (Joe) Sears, Nancy (John) McKee, Karen (Jim) Owens, Kristina (Richard) McKeith; several grand, great grand, and great-great grandchildren; and brother, Billie "Red" Craig. 

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; son, Kevin Walker; and three sisters, Nancy Hayden, Nova Duley, and Lulubelle Craig. 

Cremation rites were accorded.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 1 pm, Sunday, July 27 at Marks Mortuary in Wood River.

Interment will be in Woodland Hill Cemetery.
