Erika (Wiekhorst) Watson

Erika Watson, 98, passed away January 30, 2024 at her home.

Born in Hamburg, Germany o April 21, 1925, she was the daughter of Karl and Margaret Wiekhorst.

She had worked as a custodian in the Southwestern School District before retiring.

Erika married Paul Watson who preceded her in death.

Surviving are a daughter, Margaret (Glenn) Gerdt of St. Peters, MO; and four grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Bill Watson; two brothers, Gunther Wiekhorst, Karl Wiekhorst; and three sisters, Dorine Cummings, Emily DeWerff, and Mrtle Wiekhorst.

Graveside service and burail will be at 1:30 pm, Tuesday, February 6 in Upper Alton Cemetery.
