Eric "Otter" Lee Ottwell, Sr.

Eric L. "Otter" Ottwell, Sr., 44, died July 30, 2025 doing what he loved. His love on his motorcycle was exceeded only by his love for his children, Eric, Jr. and Noel and his huskies.

Born July 30, 1981 in Staunton, he was the son of Nelson Ottwell, Sr. and wife, Joann of Moro and Susan (Anderson) Ottwell of Brighton.

He had been an O.R. Tech in the U.S. Army and a member of the Combat Veteran Motorcycle Association.

He is survived by his parents; son, Eric L. Ottwell, Jr.; daughter, Noel Ottwell; brother, Nelson (Hope) Ottwell, Jr.; two sisters, Dawn Ottwell Ivy and Stella Massey;nieces, nephews; extended family and many friends; and beloved huskies.

Eric was preceded in death by two brothers, Brian Hubbs and James Massey.

In accordance with his wishes, no service will be conducted.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date,

Interment will be in Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery.
