Dorothy Marie (Jackson) Ireland

Dorothy Marie Ireland, 91, passed away August 10, 2025 at Bria of Wood River.

Born April 5, 1934 in Clinton, KY, she was the daughter of John R. and Lula Mae (Sons) Jackson.

She married John Y. Ireland, Jr. in Kentucky. He died on November 28, 1987.

Surviving are a daughter, Laura Elliott of Alton; son, Johnny (Cynthia) Ireland of Brighton; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren..

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; daughters, Kathy Partridge, Joany Christian, Janice Karrick; son, Charles Ireland; two brothers; and five sisters.

A graveside service will be held at 11 am on Friday, August 15, 2025, at Wanda Cemetery in South Roxana.
