Donald Ray Donahue

Donald Ray Donahue, 74, passed away from complications related to dementia on May 10, 2024 the Mexico Veteran's Home in Mexico, MO.

Born January 27, 1950 in Chester, IL, he was the son of Charles and Olinda (Sutterer) Donahue.

A U.S. Air Force veteran, he served in Thailand during his tour of duty.

Surviving are a son, Justin (Amanda) Donahue of Jefferson City, MO; daughter, Hannah (Ryan) Nichols of Erin, TN; three grandchildren, Trinity Donahue, Sophia Donahue, Ava Donahue; sister, Beverly (Jim) Leonard of Bethalto; and a brother, James (Sharon) Donahue of Cottage Hills.

He was preceded in death by two sisters, Minnie Tindall and Madeline Fischer; and a brother, Thomas in infancy.

Cremation rites were accorded.

Interment service will be held at 1 pm, Friday, July 5 in Rose Lawn Memory Gardens in Bethalto.
