Diana J. (Smith) Bosco

Diana J. Bosco, 79, passed away October 4, 2025 at Alton Memorial Hospital.

Born on January 30, 1946 in Gillespie, she was the daughter of Victor and Emily (Schey) Smith.

Diana had been an insurance agent with Marsha McLennan before retiring. She was later employed with C.R. Systems and Health at Home.

In 1963 in Bethalto, she married Daniel D. Bosco, Sr. He died August 13, 2008.

Surviving are two sons, Darrin (Dianna) Bosco of Rosewood Heights, Darrell (Kim) Bosco of Edwardsville; a daughter, Carol (Daryl) Davis of Sodby Daisey, TN; 11 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; and a brother, Larry Smith in Northern IL.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; son, Daniel D. Bosco, Jr.; great granddaughter, Noelle Bowles; brother, Jimmy Smith; and two sisters, Janet Tite and Judy Lippert.

Private services will be held with  burial in Woodland Hill Cemetery.

Memorials are suggested to the Alzheimer's Disease Foundation.
