Debra Kathleen Dona, 68, passed away August 6, 2024 at her residence.
Born March 21, 1956 in Wood River, she was the daughter of Frank Lyle and Anna Jane (East) Dona.
Debra had worked as a clerk and letter carrier for the U.S. Postal Service in Alton for 25 1/2 years.
She married Jennifer Lavite on July 25, 2024 in St. Louis. She survives.
Surviving also are a step-son, Matthew Lavite of Wood River; grandson, Gavin Lavite; and two brothers, Richard (Susan) Dona of Alton, and Daniel (Nancy) Dona of Edwardsville.
Cremation rites were accorded.
