David Lee Reynolds, Sr., 81, passed away February 15, 2025 at Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Louis.
Born January 5, 1944 in Alton, he was the son of Joseph Oscar and Gladys (Carstens) Reynolds.
David had worked as a machinist for Boeing and also as a self-employed carpenter; and had been a member of Wood River Masonic Lodge #1062.
Surviving are a son, David L. Reynolds, Jr. of Alton; daughter, Shelly Dyer of Grafton; six grandchildren, Michael Dyer, Gregory Dyer, Devin Reynolds, Dillon Reynolds, Lauren Hamby, and Iyana Reynolds; and four great grandchildren, Evelina Dyer, Theodore Dyer, Penelope Dyer, and Tucker Hamby.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Jody Reynolds; and two sisters, Lorretta Warren and Aggie Cannon.
Cremation rites were accorded.
