David Allen Drozda

David Allen Drozda, 76, passed away June 21, 2026 at Evercare of Jerseyville.

Born August 31, 1949 in Granite City, he was the son of Joseph and Alvera (Pospishel) Drozda.

A U.S. Army veteran, he had been employed with the Olin Corporation in East Alton for 30 years before retiring. S

urviving are two daughters, Laurie Gilligan of Pontoon Beach, Jamie (Darin) Vahle of Alton; three grandchildren, Kyler (Ashleigh) Gilligan, Kaden Gilligan, Cameron Vahle; and two great grandchildren, Kayson and Bailee Gilligan.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and a brother, Kevin Drozda.

Cremation rites were accorded.

No services have been scheduled at this time.

Interment will be in Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery at a later date.
