Daniel Lee Rhodes

Daniel Lee Rhodes, 77, passed away April 9, 2026 at Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Louis.

Born November 19, 1948 in Effingham, he was the son of Delbert Eugene "Gene" Rhodes and Bernice (Wolfert) Rhodes.

 U.S. Army veteran, he had worked as an installer for PhoneMasters, Inc before retiring.

On June 24, 1995 in Las Vegas, NV, he married Bonnie S. Johnson.  She died August 21, 2025.

Surviving are a his step-mother, Lois Rhodes of Bethalto; son, Ryan Rhodes of St. Louis; daughter, Leah (Kevin) Budde of St. Louis; grandchildren, Austin Budde, Mya and Luka Rhodes; brother, Mark (Sandy) Rhodes of Wood River; and sisters, Sandy Ingold in Tennessee, and Cheryl (John) wells of Bethalto.

Cremation rites were accorded.
