Daly "Lendel" Ottwell

Daly Lendel Ottwell, 74, passed away December 22, 2025 at Alton Memorial Rehabilitation and Therapy.

Born October 1, 1951 in Alton, he was the son of Noren and Annabel (McPeak) Ottwell.

He had been employed on the street department for the Village of East Alton for 24 years before retiring.

Lendel is survived by a son, Corey Ottwell of East Alton; two daughters, Natasha Martinez of Wood River, Rebecca Crane of Brighton; step-daughter, Chrissy McDade of Meadowbrook; five grandchildren; three step-grandchildren; a great grandchild; seven step-great grandchildren; and a sister, Lenda "Cozy" Lindquist of Godfrey.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and a sister, Christine Cunningham.

Visitation will be from 9 am until time of service at 11 am, Tuesday, December 30 at Marks Mortuary in Wood River. Frank Akers will officiate.

Burial will follow in Rose Lawn Memory Gardens in Bethalto.

Memorials are suggested to Lovejoy United Presbyterian Church in Wood River.
