Clifford Earl Kearbey, 75, passed away April 12, 2026 at Jefferson Barracks VA Medical Center in St. Louis.
Born October 15, 1950 in St. Louis, he was the son of Raymond F. and Mildred L. (LeGrand) Kearbey.
A U.S. Army, Vietnam veteran, he had served as Chief of Police for the Village of Hartford for seven years before retiring in 1980.
Surviving are two sons, Cody S. Kearbey and Nicholas F. Antoine-Kearbey both of Hartford; two brothers, Raymond "Butch" (Lynn) Kearbey and Billie Gene Kearbey; sister, Vicki Kruep; and half-sister, Sharon Hayden.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and brother, Larry A. Kearbey.
Cremation rites were accorded.
Interment will be in Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery with military honors at a later date.
